IR digital services provider
Our direct integration with IR as an approved digital services provider builds on an innovation that Tax Traders introduced to the marketplace almost five years earlier. It also recognises the technology aspect of our role with IR. We are a key player in the tax technology landscape, no longer just a ‘tax pooling provider’.
In 2020, Tax Traders became the first tax pooling provider to offer direct integration of your clients’ IR data into our online portal via our partnership with TaxLab. That was a game changer, as it enabled you to see your clients’ tax pooling transactions and their IR position in one integrated view. This also supported the automatic, one-click finalisation of a year-end, as all the data required to complete the transactions your client required were integrated within our market-leading tools. Prior to this, getting a complete view of clients’ tax positions relied on manual data handling, email trails and time-consuming reconciliation – far from a seamless experience.
But when our IR data integration was released, things became quick and painless. You could now calculate residual income tax positions for your clients accurately and easily set up payment plans to reduce their exposure to IR use-of-money interest and late payment penalties if tax was underpaid.
Of course, that was just the beginning.
